THINGS & PEOPLE: THE HAMBLEDON AT 10
A series, shot in 2009, for the tenth anniversary of the shop, The Hambledon. It celebrates one of the joys of independent retail – knowing your customers. Ten customers were photographed, one for every year that The Hambledon had been open, each with an object they’d bought from the shop. The objects were photographed in the customers’ homes. This project spawned a larger series, Things and People. It explores, in words and pictures, what objects mean to people.
